Studio Magdala

Sophie Magdala

Studio Magdala hosts intimate clay experiences and curated seasonal gatherings where people shared table and explore the relationship between everyday objects, materials, and the senses. Longside these experiences, Studio Magdala creates seasonal collections of handcrafted stoneware, original prints, and small editorial objects. Working exclusively with handbuilding techniques, the studio creates functional and sculptural ceramics that grow from the same seasonal idea and invite people to live with them every day. Studio Magdala is an evolving sensory practice rooted in ceramics, space, and the belief that the objects we live with shape the way we experience everyday life.

Make Creativity a Habit

Traci McLachlan

I’m Traci McLachlan, a maker in the Madison, Wisconsin area. I’m passionate about making creativity a regular part of life. I’ve been on a creative journey to explore and learn as much as I can about different art techniques. Over the years I’ve realized the greatest satisfaction in making art comes from focusing on the process rather than product. I believe deeply in the power of creativity for wellness. I guide you through art workshops that encourage free expression and help make creativity a regular habit.
