Learn to Amigurumi

This class will introduce the basics of crochet in the round to create 3D animal forms using the Japanese art of crochet called amigurumi. This is a beginner level course, but some basic crochet experience will be helpful. Over the course of 3 sessions, students will learn basic beginner stitches (single crochet, slip stitch, chain, increase and decrease), how to read crochet patterns, and complete a small amigurumi project (including skills for circle coaster, bowl, and ball).  All supplies provided. (Feel free to bring your own yarn if there is a specific color wanted (just avoid very fine or fuzzy yarn such as mohair. Recommended is bulky or worsted weighted yarn)
